DTP Operator
CBG Konsult AB is a Swedish company, established in 1965, specialised in multilingual document management, which includes activities such as project management, technical translation, DTP and software development. Offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Brussels, Barcelona, Warsaw and Shanghai.
We are now seeking to appoint a DTP operator t in a full-time position at our local office in Warsaw. The preferred candidate will have an interest in languages and work with different tasks in our DTP-processes in the production of multilingual documentation.
A DTP operator working under the supervision of a team leader will be responsible for the automated layout-process, which requires contacting the teams in various offices.
Responsibilities
Following a short introductory period, you will progressively assume responsibility for a complete layout-process including the following:
- Receiving customer documentation for analysis of format and content.
- Controlling the translated documentation that aims at detecting the deviation from the original customer documentation.
- Editing a layout manually.
- Delivery checks and text formatting/layout of translated documents.
Our requirements
- We envisage that you have just completed your education and intend to embark upon a professional career.
- It is important that you are an accurate, self-going, service-minded team-worker.
- As you will work in an international organisation it is very important that you can communicate effortlessly in English.
- In addition you should have a very good knowledge of programs in Windows environment. If you have any working experience of DTP-software like Indesign or FrameMaker that is a plus.
